An original vintage Air Ministry poster for R.A.F pilots, Good Instrument Flying The Pilots Safeguard Attained Through Constant Practice, circa 1950s. Produced for the Air Ministry Deputy Directorate of Accident Prevention. The poster featuring stylised image of instruments/ gauges.  Reference Number credit PA 4b/61. “Printed for H.M. Stationery Office by Hudson Scott & Sons, Carlisle 33-240”.

Dimensions 49cm high x 38cm wide.

 

Printers and stationers Hudson Scott & Sons based in Carlisle operated from the late eighteenth century and played a central role in World War I ammunitions production due to their work with tin.
