An original 1940s/1950s ‘Royal Borough of Kensington – Cheval Place S.W.7‘ sign, enamel on tin, within period iron casing.

Cheval Place is situated in the Brompton Road/ Knightsbridge area of London close to Harrods. Cheval Place street signage also appears as ‘City of Westminster’. This sign is pre amalgamation with the ‘Metropolitan Borough of Chelsea’ in 1965.
