Hollywood actress Phyliss Virginia “Bebe” Daniels (1901 – 1971) was a star during both the silent and early sound cinema eras. Dangerous Money was made whilst Daniels was under contract to Paramount features William Powell as a Prince trying to steal Bebe’s characters money. The film is one of the lost movies of the era.

Bebe appeared in over 230 films during her career, she moved her family to London during the early 1930s. Bebe and her Hollywood actor husband Ben Lyon were stars of a hugely successful series of British radio shows, which began in the mid-1930s, continued throughout the war years and by the 1950s had developed into the BBC radio and early television show “Life With The Lyons”.
