Eden Box (1909-1988) (aka Edna Fleming) was an artist known particularly for the naïve style of her paintings, which frequently featured religious themes. Her work is included in the collection of the Tate Gallery.

Condition report: Overall in good condition. The painting has some visible foxing, and some cracking to gouache. The painting itself has been glued within mount, wear from a previous mount also visible under current one (see images).
