Travel Posters: An original early 1960s ocean liner poster, produced by Thomas Cook ‘Tickets For All Shipping Lines – Here At Cooks’. This poster features artwork attributed to E. Hanna. The design features several named ships including; The SS Canberra, The RMS Queen Elizabeth, SS Australis, SS France, SS Leonard Da Vinci, RMS Rangitane and SS Uganda.

The poster itself is 40 x 25 inches and has been conservation framed and mounted.

Thomas Cook are one of the most recognisable names in the British business. Operating since the mid-19th century the company were at the forefront of leisure travel industry from the outset.

During the 1950s and 1960s (when this poster was produced) Thomas Cook were promoting foreign travel to their customers, providing a range of new destinations. Flight and ocean liner travel were the cornerstone of this.
