LONDON UNDERGROUND/ ILLUSTRATION ART: A rare original poster concept design for London Underground, circa 1920s, artist unknown, entitled “Blackberry Time”, gouache on paper mounted on artists board, with original tracking paper overlay, the design featuring stylised blackberries London Underground bulls-eye logo and the slogan “Book For The Countryside”, bearing “Campfield Press, St. Albans” label to reverse.

The Campfield Press were the Salvation Army’s printing and press office, existing from 1901 until 1991.
