The Artist

Unfortunately, we have been unable to identify the artist in this instance. It is possible the painting was designed by artist Beryl Johnson during the 1940s. Little information is available about her work.

The layout of this Victoria Wine Co. design appears to be for an advertisement or poster.

The Victoria Wine Company was founded in London in 1865 as a wine merchant and importer. The company existed until 2009 when it was merged with other off licence groups including Threshers.
